Major Gifts/Planned Gifts

Feasibility/Planning Studies

The decision to expand facilities, start an endowment, or initiate new programs takes vision, courage, and enthusiasm. It takes a well-designed campaign plan to guide each step of your journey before you solicit your first gift.

One popular planning tool is a feasibility or planning study which provides an objective analysis of your institution's fundraising capability and readiness to launch a campaign. The study helps your leadership better define its vision for future projects and initiatives.

The Aleph Group's study director conducts one-hour, confidential face-to-face interviews with prospective major gift campaign donors and volunteer leaders to understand your organization's fundraising strengths and weaknesses. We report back a written quantitative and qualitative analysis of their feedback. We evaluate campaign readiness, offer recommendations, timelines, and action steps to remediate weaknesses identified in the study.

The report answers such questions as:

  1. How much can we expect to raise?
  2. Do key prospective donors regard this project as a personal funding priority?
  3. Will we have enough prospective donors to fund this initiative?
  4. Do we have enough volunteer leaders?
  5. Do we have an adequately-trained staff?
  6. Is the public's perception of our organization positive?

Based on years of experience with other not-for-profits, we work collaboratively with you in developing the appropriate strategies to achieve your goals. We do so with the utmost objectivity, integrity, and expertise.
